HEALTH SERVICES
Gilgit Baltistan Rural Support Program provides health services in rural areas in emergency or required basis. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic the following activities have been carried out by the GBRSP health services team:
Dis-infection Spray
GBRSP Health services team carried out Dis-Infection spray in different areas of Gilgit Baltistan
Distribution of Dispensaries
Hand sanitizers, Masks and Gloves were distributed in Schools, Secretariat and Line department of Gilgit Baltistan.
Safety Kits
Safety kits were distributed in different hospitals of Gilgit Baltistan. Which included protective shields, helmets, masks and gowns.
Personal Protective Equipment
PPEs were distributed in Schools, Mosques, Imam – Bargahas, Jamat Khanas and Government offices.
Dis-Infection spraying machines
GBRSP handed out different Dis-Infection spraying machines to Civil Administration of every district in Gilgit Baltistan.
Hand Washing Facilities
Hand Washing Facilities were installed in different public places of Gilgit Baltistan.
Ration Distribution
During lockdown ration (which consists of food items and groceries) were distributed among the needy in different communities across Gilgit Baltistan.
Gifts to Quarantine patients
The patients at isolation centers in Gilgit Baltistan received a gift of dry fruits from the GBRSP.
Training Staff
GBRSP hosted to train the staff of different hospitals to train them on using the ventilators during the pandemic.
